Investigative journalist and author Jane Velez-Mitchell is often seen on the stations CNN, MSNBC, Court TV, Fox and E!, as well as others, commenting on high-profile court cases.
For CNN, she has made appearances on both Nancy Grace’s show as well as “Larry King Live.” An Emmy-award winner, she has also written nonfiction books about secrets discovered in some of the most widely covered murder cases of recent times, including “Secrets Can Be Murder: The Killer Next Door”.
But Jane is also known for being an animal rights advocate, among other causes. In the state of California, there is the “Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act,” which will be on the ballots in November. It is to prevent the confinement of animals in small cages where they are unable to turn around or stretch at all.
Whether you live in the state, or are an animal lover, here is an eye-opening video about why Jane is motivated to advocate for a “yes” on the vote. Though the matter is regional and political (two points on which we strive to remain neutral at thesavvygal.com) Jane’s opinions and views are still worth a minute of your time.
